Well here I am in a whole new place, my first official post here on Pixyblog.
I must say a big thank you to Richard for making this possible; if he hadn't taken the time to perfect an import from Blogger to here I couldn't have done it without leaving all of my old work behind me.
I also have to say a big thank you to Elaine for all of her help :)
I've been spending the last few days getting to grips with the new enviroment, learning how to customize a little and updating some of the older posts. All of my old images that were hosted on Blogger (some were hosted on Photobucket) have been sent over in the small preview format, this was unavoidable so I spent quite a few hours yesterday uploading the correct sized versions. I still have some more to do so if you do look back and find a small image I'm sorry, I'm getting to them as fast as I can!
Going back over old work is a mixed bag, some of it is really awful and I must admit I did wonder about deleting those posts but it's a journey, from picking up the camera again three years ago until now, it tells a story. So warts and all I left them all here for everyone to see. Some do seem to be displaying artefacts though, I haven't found out why yet?
So todays image was fitting I thought, carrying a torch over from an old blog to a new one. Oh and I made the candle holder too, very quick, simple but very pleasing things to make!
